The Barbarians aka The Barbs are a faction in Raid: Shadow Legends and they comprise some great champions like Valkyrie, Turvold and Fahrakin the Fat. But are any of them good against the clan boss? In this guide, I am going to take you through the best of the best the Barbs offer in terms of the Clan Boss fight, and there are some amazing champions here!

What makes a good Clan Boss Champion?

They need debuffs, buffs, cleansing, survivability and of course damage to name a few. Inherently there are few champions in the Barbarians faction that are popular choices for Clan Boss.

Let’s go through the few by rarity that make the clan boss list of champions to use.

Rares:

Warmaiden

Warmaiden is a great option for early game clan boss as she has a decrease defence on her A3 and a chance to place the small version of poisons on her A1

Tigersoul

Tigersoul is a solid rare for Clan Boss as she has the chance to place the big version of poisons on her A1 and she has a weaken, albeit on a four-turn cooldown, on her A2. She also has a self block debuffs and increase defence on her A3, which can be useful if you want to use her as a stun target.

Marked

Marked is a great option as a block debuff champion, when booked it is on a 3-turn cooldown, and if tuned right, you can have her use it right before the stun. She also has a decrease defence on her A1.

That’s it for the rares some good ones there, on to the epics.

Epics

Wood-Painted

Who would have thought I would have Woad Painted on this list, but since her buff she is an amazing cleanser and healer. She is all about her A2 Removes debuffs, then heals everyone and if that’s not all, she then places reflect damage on all allies. Her other two skills bring nothing. But if you are struggling to stay alive, she is your girl!

Suwai Firstborn

This axe wielding, half shaved headed firecracker has it all when you think of debuffs for clan boss. Decrease Defence on her A1, Decrease Attack on her A2 and a Weaken on her A3. The only thing missing is poisons. Put her in a toxic set and she does it all.

High Khatun

We all get her for free and will be in our Arena team until we get a better speed lead. But that speed can also help you in Clan Boss to go faster. We even have some comps on the site that utilise that.

And last but not least, the best Epic in this faction for Clan Boss and one of the best Epics in the game

Fahrakin the Fat

What a Champion! Decrease defence on his A1, HP burn and poisons on his A2. But the main event is the A3 – he will place an increase crit rate and increase crit damage on all allies then he will team up with all allies to attack the clan boss! If you are lucky enough to get him, he will be in your Clan Boss Team and nearly every other team too.

Honourable mentions

Jotun

Jotun is not really a good champion but if you are struggling in the early to mid game, he has a decrease defence on his A1 and a HP Burn on his A2.

Alika

She does not bring much but what she brings is the hardest hitting A1 in the game! Put her in a team with counterattack or ally attack and watch those damage numbers go up and up!

Aina

This epic is Suwai’s twin in nearly every way she also has a Weaken and Decrease Defence in her kit but her chance of an extra turn on her A1 can throw off a speed tune.

Legendaries

Valkyrie

What can we say about Valk? She is just the Queen of keeping your team alive and increase your damage potential with her Counterattacks. She doesn’t really bring anything else, but do you need her to? Valk will be your Clan Boss monster for an exceptionally long time if you get her. She is absolutely amazing!

Ursuga Warcaller

Ursuga is the protection Queen, when booked her A3 becomes a protection monster then you add in her Passive where you receive less damage. She will keep your team alive for a long time!

Tuhanark

She is the legendary version of Doompriest. She has the same passive where she removes a debuff at the start of every turn. But Tuhanark brings more to the fight than Doompreist; she has a Decrease Attack on her A2 and an increase speed and increase defence on her A3. She also has an increase accuracy aura which can help you if you are struggling for accuracy.

And last but not least, the OG Decrease attack champion!

Altan

Altan was for the longest time one of the most wanted champions in Raid: Shadow Legends for one simple reason: his A1. His A1 has a high chance to place Decrease Attack for 2 turns. This was massive back in the days before they created the Unkillable comps.

Final Notes
