Tyrant Ixlimor is a Magic affinity legendary from the Demonspawn faction. Tyrant is known as one of the best champions in the game to kill Spider 20! Paired with a control champion like Achak or Miscreated Monster they can easily two man one of the hardest dungeons in Raid: Shadow Legends, and since Tyrant has an AOE HP burn skill, he can be paired with a few easy to get champions and speed farm stage 25 of the spider dungeon. But the question is, is tyrant any good anywhere else? Can you use him in Clan Boss? in this spotlight we are going to find out!

Tyrant’s Skill Set

A1 Feast of Flame

Attacks 1 enemy. Heals this champion by 25% of the damage inflicted. Heals this champion by 50% of the damage inflicted instead if the target is under a HP Burn debuff.

A2 Hellfire Torrent – 4 Turn Cooldown (Books to 3-turns)

Attacks all enemies. Has a 75% (books to 100%) chance of placing a HP Burn debuff on all enemies for 3 turns.

A3 Infernal Minions – 4 Turn Cooldown (Books to 3-turn)

Places a 50% Ally Protection buff on all allies except this champion for 2 turns. Places a 60% Increase DEF buff on all allies for 2 turns.

Passive Fires of Doom

Decreases damage inflicted by enemies under HP Burn debuffs by 10%.

Aura

Increases Ally HP in all battles by 25%.

Skill set Breakdown.

Tyrant is all about his A2 and A3 for two different reasons. The A2 is a AOE HP burn for 3 turns which is rare in the game and since it’s on a 3 turn cooldown, it will never fall off. As we know HP burn is an excellent way to do massive damage in most areas of the game. Then the A3 is the ultimate protection skill, Ally Protect on all allies for 2 turns. Meaning he can be your Ally Protector in Clan Boss and he will protect you even more when you combine the A2 and A3 together as the Passive will decrease the damage inflicted by enemies by 10% when they are under HP Burn. The A1 is a simple enough ability single hit that heals Tyrant of a percentage of the damage inflicted.

Tyrant’s Aura can also be very useful if you are struggling to stay alive with a 25% increase of HP in all battles.

Where to use Tyrant?

Tyrant is mostly used as a HP burner in Spider as previously mentioned. But you can also use him as a passive damage dealer in Doom Tower for those tricky floors where you can’t use the usual damage dealers…we are looking at you Warchief!! Basically Tyrant can be used in all PvE content except Fire Knight as he doesn’t have any multi-hit skills.

In conclusion Tyrant Ixlimor is an amazing champion overall and you will not be sad if you get him! He is a premier HP burn champion for general content, few are better than him. But if you want to use him in Clan Boss, he will not do you wrong either!
